India has the world’s greatest number of technical institutes with adequate infrastructure. It also boasts the greatest number of engineers, with over one million engineering graduates per year. Only about 7-8 percent of these graduates receive their degrees from institutes such as IIT, NIT, or other independent deemed universities. Other private engineering institutions with accreditation from the All-India Council for Technical Education generate the remaining graduates. Engineering is a highly valued profession in India, with admission to government-funded schools such as IITs and NITs highly valued. Admission to such an institute lays the framework for a world-class education at a reduced cost, as well as possibilities to be hired by top multinational businesses and institutes for a lucrative income. A degree from one of these institutions also prepares young people for a career in research and science. As a result, the admission exams for these institutions or institutes are competitive and have a low acceptance rate. The Joint Entrance Examination –Mains [JEE MAINS] and Joint Entrance Examination Advanced [JEE Advanced] are the two most important exams. It is very important to concentrate on all the subjects well that would help in proving to be of much use to you.  You can find that it has been possible to come up with flying colors that would help in making your dream come true.  It is also quite important to get the right details of the JEE that would never let you stay ignorant at all.

The Joint Entrance Examination – Main was formerly an AICTE run national level examination by the name of All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE). The National Testing Agency (NTA) organizes the examination and it serves as an entrance examination to undergraduate engineering and architecture courses in various institutions in India.  Adopting global standards, the JEE Mains examination is now conducted four times a year. The Joint Entrance Examination – Advanced (JEE ADVANCED) was formerly known as IIT Joint Entrance Examination. It is held annually for admission to the prestigious engineering colleges like IITs, Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy (IIPE), Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RG-IPT), Indian Institute of Space Technology (IIST), the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISERs).
