This fantastic music event attracts thousands of music enthusiasts from all over the world each year towards the end of February. The three-day festival is held at Dubai’s Media City, where guests may enjoy some fantastic performances by some famous names in the jazz world. Many more musicians and bands that aren’t technically jazz are participating, but the line-up is always outstanding.
Dubai International Boat Show:
Even for those who don’t get out on the water very frequently, this is a spectacular event unlike any other. Visitors may gaze in wonder at some of the most stunning boats from across the world, as well as rub shoulders with boat owners, sales firms, skippers, and crew as they mingle and network. Around 30,000 people attend the five-day festival, which takes place at the end of February or early March.
Unlike many other boat exhibitions, the festivities here don’t begin until the afternoon, when the sweltering desert temperatures have subsided slightly. Then the party continues into the evening with pop-up events, cocktail parties, and DJ sets.
Swim around the Burj:
If the notion of reserving a stay in Dubai’s most renowned hotel makes your pocketbook scream, take a completely different way to get up close and personal. Guests may approach the sail-shaped architectural wonder through a private bridge on an island 280 meters offshore.
Every year in March, the Burj Al Arab holds a swimming competition in which up to 700 people compete to swim around the island. The event has a total distance of 1,600 meters, with an 800-meter division as well. Each year, this enjoyable event raises funds for local organizations.
Taste of Dubai:
One of the most enjoyable aspects of visiting new locations must undoubtedly be eating the local food. Although this is Dubai’s unofficial food festival, it continues to draw people from all around the world since its inception in 2007. Attendees may see famous chefs do live culinary demonstrations, and some of the best local restaurants serve their most popular meals for a fraction of the price that diners spend in-house. Taste of Dubai is one of the most popular yearly festivals, taking place in March.
Dubai is a spectacular location to visit at any time of year, but due to the extreme heat of the summer, many of the major yearly events are held in the early months. One can enjoy all the events with family and friends in Dubai and can make memories there.
