If you have been tempted to try out the Rogue DPS, here’s the facts about the class.
The class we choose is going to define our experience in World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade. It doesn’t matter whether you’re TBC power leveling, or racking up all the TBC Classic gold that you can find. Your journey will be influenced by your class at some juncture, and many will be focusing on the amount of damage you can cause. This is why we’re taking a look at the Rogue DPS in WoW TBC right here.
About the Rogue DPS
Before you start investing WoW TBC gold and resources into your character for the Rogue DPS, we can take a look at just how effective it really is. With Rogues, you are getting a class that is mainly used to dish out damage during raids. Starting out, you won’t exactly be in the highest tier of damage output, but they do have other advantages in raids at this stage. You can introduce further armor reduction with Expose Armor, which will overtake the Sunder Armor of a Warrior.
The pros of the Rogue is to dish out damage to your foes when raiding. The cooldown abilities that the Rogues possesses will keep them in the fight, and help to cut down the health of your enemies in a short window. We mentioned that they aren’t up there with the best in early DPS phases, but as you progress you will be more than equipped to hang with the best of them. They are rather relentless, and don’t reply on mana as much as some other classes do.
Their attacking nature isn’t their only advantage either. When it comes to both utility and defence, the Rogue still stands out. With the likes of Evasion, Vanish and Cloak of Shadows, they are going to help you attack enemies without worrying about consequence as much as others in your party. There’s less need for you to be healed, and you’re pretty self sufficient, in general, as the Rogue DPS.
Naturally, there are some disadvantages of the Rogue. One major drawback of the class is just how reliant it is on gear. The output damage that the Rogue conjures up is predominantly controlled by the equipment since it scales with it. You may have noticed with other classes that use spells can simply rely on having high base damage. Unfortunately, this isn’t something that is afforded to the Rogue. So if your equipment isn’t up to scratch, it is going to be reflected in the damage you deal.
It is also rather hindered by the amount of rotation that you have to put up with. The abilities that the Rogue has means that you need to juggle a number of attacks and use them in the relevant situations. In order to make the most of this, you’ll need to study the game so that you have an idea how random events are going to conclude.
The Best Rogue Races to Use
With the knowledge of what’s good and bad about the Rogue, you can now start to look at what races are best to get the most out of them. This will obviously depend on the faction that you are using. If you’re an Alliance player, then choice really isn’t anything you need to worry about. In fact, there is only the Human that you can really use if you’re going to get the PvE damage boost that you need.
That said, it isn’t quite as easy to choose when you are playing as Horde. You have the choice of Troll, Orc or Blood Elf if you’re main focus is PvE damage output. Orcs are considered to edge out the other two choices in terms of consistency, but the true winner will be determined by your setup. So be sure to keep an eye out on any further TBC items that can help you on the battlefield.
There is a few other methods that you could take if you really wanted to make the most of your WoW TBC experience. If you for example were to buy TBC gold, you’d be able to get yourself ahead of the game, as you would if you were to buy WoW TBC accounts. This would help you bypass The Burning Crusade power levelling, which is one heck of a grind for players even when they have found the fastest possible methods of getting those levels up. Whatever you decide to do with your experience in TBC, you can bet that the Rogue DPS is a good choice for you to play as.
