Are you suffering from daytime sleepiness? In other words, called narcolepsy, this disorder is a problem where the patient cannot complete their sleep or rest cycle during the night due to which they feel drowsy and sleepy during the day.

Remember that just feeling sleepy and drowsy during the day does not mean that you have narcolepsy. There may be times that may cause excess daytime sleepiness, such as people suffering from jet lag or people who fly a lot.

The other most common problem can be the shifting cycle of your work that prevents your body from adjusting to any particular rhythm because your shifts keep changing quite frequently.

Remember that sleeping is a cycle and much like a pattern or a habit. If you disrupt this cycle, especially your nighttime sleep cycle, then you can suffer from narcolepsy.
